Established in 1973, Batey’s Taxis was one of west Northumberland’s most successful cab firms. Ecocabs – another Hexham-based firm – was proud to purchase Batey’s in 2017. This allowed us to rebuild Batey’s site in Hexham and to develop an HQ with in-house maintenance facility.

In addition to housing our fleet, this bespoke site has eco-friendly investments such as water and oil recycling systems. Our HQ was developed with the care for environment at its core.
